I've mentioned previously that some insects are quite tasty, or at least fun to catch, but had never ventured to try ground things like slugs or earthworms until just recently.
The problem with earthworms is getting them out of the ground, and then having to wash the dirt and grit off them. And so, I'd never tried one until the other day when I spotted one about to pop back into the ground.I quickly discovered that earthworms are quite disgusting! Not only are they full of gooey and horrible dirt inside them, they simply taste gross. I can't imagine what fish see in them.
Yuck! Out of five I gave earthworms zero.
